In summer, Val di Fiemme offers the possibility of experiencing suggestive excursions in the Dolomites, or pleasant walks in the nature parks, where it is possible to relax in total contact with nature. The variety of its natural beauty, the wealth of flora and fauna, and the spectacular panorama of the Dolomites are the elements that accompany visitors throughout their holiday.
Cavalese is the main town in Val di Fiemme and the tourist hub of the entire valley. Well exposed to the sun, it extends over the slopes of the valley with a very large town centre rich in services and steeped in history.
Before Predazzo we find another municipality in Val di Fiemme, Ziano di Fiemme.
Ziano is a quiet mountain village also connected to the others by the Fiemme-Fassa bicycle path. Excellent for those seeking a quiet holiday destination but with all useful amenities, it is well connected to the rest of the valley.
Predazzo is a neuralgic point for moving around the valley, here the roads that ascend towards the Fassa Valley cross, or head towards Bellamonte, the Paneveggio Nature Park, Passo Valles (Falcade) and Passo Rolle (San Martino di Castrozza).
Predazzo is especially recommended for families and the elderly. The area is almost flat and this makes it ideal for those who do not suffer from slopes, unlike Cavalese, here walking is easier thanks to the conformation of the land.
Set in the natural monument of the Dolomites, the Val di Fassa offers trails, sports routes and a community rich in cultural traditions.
The Fassa Valley runs along the upper part of the course of the Avisio river, from the Marmolada glacier, from where it originates, to Moena, where it enters the Fiemme Valley.
Moena is known as the Fairy of the Dolomites because at sunrise and sunset the peaks of the Dolomites surrounding it turn pink, what a spectacle of nature!
Canazei, a well-known resort for winter and summer tourism, thanks to its proximity to the Marmolada and the Sella Group, offers incredible views in any season. Countless trails wrap around the Sella, Sassolungo, Pordoi and Marmolada mountain groups, which are walked every year by thousands of hikers from all over the world. Experienced mountaineers can experience the thrill of via ferrata and equipped routes, conquering even the highest peaks.
